Senior full-stack engineer on a high-traffic online gaming platform with an affiliate program, using Angular and Spring Boot (Java). Works in a cross-border team of 6 local developers, 8 foreign developers, 3 business analysts and 5 mobile developers.
- Rebuilt the web app and mobile web app UI from the ground up in Angular, replacing a legacy UI, and delivered it to production for hundreds of thousands of users.
- Migrated 156 endpoints so far from an 8-10 year-old native Java backend to Spring Boot (3 services) using agentic coding with Codex; the migration is ongoing.
- Used Cursor with Figma and Playwright MCP integrations (and Playwright CLI) to build the new UI from designs and run browser tests.
- Introduced end-to-end testing with Playwright (about 108 scenarios) and wrote unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
- Integrated web3 wallet registration and login (EVM chains, MetaMask, TRON and TON Connect) and created the APIs that support them.
- Used Redis to store one-time passwords (OTPs), temporary tokens and other short-lived data.
- Analyzed stored procedure workflows, debugged queries and stored procedures, and reviewed their workflow (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Led client-requested features, coordinating clarification questions with the business analyst (BA), and generated API documentation with an AI agent for the mobile team.
- Led Angular modernization while keeping legacy compatibility, and set and enforced coding standards.
- Added client-side encryption (Web Crypto API) and multi-language support.
